BIOS
Allan Catacutan
Director and Trainer
Allan’s background as a Massage Therapist and Certified Pilates
Instructor provides a thorough knowledge of, and appreciation for,
the human body and its capabilities. As a Certified Fitness Consultant
(Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology), he is trained in gymnastics
and kickboxing. Along with being a BCPRA & CSEP Certified Personal
Trainer, he also developed and instructed the Functional Anatomy
Course at the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba and is a Level
1 Boxing Coach with National Coaching Certificate Program (NCCP).
Allan is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning
Association (NSCA), a Can-Fit Pro Fitness Instructor & Trainer,
as well as a Sports Movement & Strength Specialist with TWIST
Conditioning. He is also a certified yoga instructor registered
with RYA (Registered Yoga Alliance).
He has also worked with the YWCA of Canada while in Toronto, and
was the Coordinator of Fitness Testing and the CPR & First Aid
Coordinator.
Having been involved in the fitness industry at many levels Allan
has also shared his passion by organizing successful fundraising
events such as the PRIDE Run/Walk in Winnipeg, and more recently
the annual Ab Challenge and the North Shores Spring into Fitness
30 Day Challenge.
Allan’s focus is to “strengthen your weaknesses, while challenging
your strengths”, thus providing a balance that will motivate every
one of his clients to lead a healthier life with a positive outlook.
